Design Principles for Business

Increasingly, business is recognising the value that design adds to enterprise and are seeking to employ workers with an awareness of business design.

Learners on this course will be equipped with the skills, tools and knowledge to understand the links between creativity, business and design. Students will learn how to solve problems creatively in any business setting through the development of core skills such as creative and critical thinking. This course will equip students with a methodology to put design thinking into action in business.

A minimum of 5 passes at ordinary level in the Leaving Certificate or its equivalent.

OR

Leaving Certificate Vocational, Leaving Certificate Applied or QQI Level 4 qualifications.

The Leaving Certificate is not a requirement for mature students and appropriate experience can be
considered as being equivalent to the Leaving Certificate.
