Apply Now for Auctioneering Apprenticeship

Step 1: Apply

When you complete your application, you will receive an acknowledgement email with login details, username and password, for your new account on our college applications system.

You will log into the college applications system regularly to manage your application to Ballsbridge College

Step 2: Interview

You will be contacted by email with a date for a phone/online college interview. You will be asked to submit your CV prior to the interview date.

The purpose of the college interview is to establish that you meet the programme’s entry requirements and to answer any questions you may have about the programme.

Please visit www.auctioneeringapprenticeship.ie for information on the apprenticeship programme

Step 3: Finding an Employer

Once you have successfully completed the college interview, the next step is to find an employer willing to take you on as an apprentice.

You should apply directly to licensed Property Service Providers.

A list of Property Service Providers is available from the Property Services Regulator Website at http://www.psr.ie/en/PSRA/Pages/Register_Licensed_PSP

Employers look for a mixture of academic and soft skills when hiring apprentices so having the right combination of both is a key advantage that will get you noticed.

Prepare an up-to-date CV and cover letter which is clear, concise, sells your skills and achievements, and shows an employer what you have to offer.

Step 4: Registration

The programme begins the first week of September. Places on the programme are filled on a first come, first served basis.  Once you secure an employer that employer should email the College confirming that they wish to take you on as their apprentice. The company’s name (apprentice provider) and your name (apprentice) will be placed the registration list and a place secured for you.

The College operates a reserve list for any applicants who apply once the places on the programme have been allocated. In the event of a place becoming available during September, the College will contact applicants on the list to offer a place, on a first come, first served basis.
