Property Management
FETAC Certificate in Business Studies (BBSXX) - NQAI Level 5

This is a one year full-time Post Leaving Certificate course to prepare students for employment in the property management sector and for progression to further study. Property management and the rental / letting sector is a growth area in Ireland.

By the end of the year, students will have clear understanding of the procedures and legislation involved in the rental market including property standards, registration, finance, the day-to-day running of property, the Residential Tenancies Act 2004, building energy rates and taxation.

Students will also have an understanding of a comprehensive range of modern business functions such as Information Technology, Economics and Law.

As part of the course, students are required to gain practical experience by working for two weeks in a property-related environment.
