Health & Safety Studies
FETAC Certificate in Community & Health Services (DCHSX) - NQAI Level 5
This course is designed to equip learners with foundation skills to gain employment in the Health and Safety area or to advance to further studies. Health and Safety has become a major concern for society, while new legislation and regulation has created many new opportunities for employment within the field.
Students will gain an understanding of the legislation, be aware of the various hazards in the workplace and learn how to manage risk.
