Application Procedures
Applications for full-time Day Courses
Application Forms are available from the College from January onwards. Applicants complete the Application Form and send it directly to the College.
There will be Advisory Sessions every Wednesday from 2pm to 4pm in the College, during term time, from February onwards.
All Applicants are invited to enrol for their course in March or May (see special enrolment dates below). This will involve completing the necessary forms and paying a deposit of €30. Enrolment ensures your place at Ballsbridge College - subject to meeting the relevant entry requirements.
International Students: International Students should apply on a special form available from the College. The International Students Information Document gives further details.

The College will continue to accept applications for remaining places until September.
Special Enrolment Days
In 2008, there will be special enrolment days in Ballsbridge College on:
- Wednesday, 14 May 2008 from 2 pm to 4 pm
- Thursday, 19 June 2008 from 10 am to 1 pm
Registration: In mid-August, those who have enrolled will be invited to register. This involves paying the balance of the course cost and, where applicable, submitting a copy of your Leaving Cert results.
Courses begin in early September.
Admissions Policy: Ballsbridge College has an Admissions Policy document which governs the entry of all students to courses. It is available to all applicants. Ballsbridge College is bound by the rules and regulations of CDVEC, a copy of which is displayed in the college or may be obtained from the college office.

Enrolment for Evening Courses
Personal Enrolment for Evening Courses is on:
Monday 14, Tuesday 15 and Thursday 17 January 2008 from 6.00 to 7.30pm.
Cash, cheque, Credit Cards or Laser Cards may be used to pay fees on these evenings.
Fee Waivers: A small fund is available to help those who have difficulty attending a course due to the course fees. Applications for fee waivers must be made to the Principal whose decision is final.
Fees are payable in advance and are not transferable to another student. Cheques should be made payable to City of Dublin VEC. Please write your name and address and current Banker's Card number on the back of the cheque.
Refund of Fees: No refund of fees can be made except where a course does not form.
Rules and Regulations: All enrolments are subject to the rules and regulations of CDVEC, a copy of which is available from the Principal. A copy is also on display in the College foyer.
Class Calendar: Classes start the week beginning Monday 21 January 2008 and end the week beginning Monday 14 April 2008.
Mid-term: The College is closed for mid-term from Monday 11 February to Friday 15 February 2008 (inclusive).
Easter: The College is closed for Easter from Monday 17 March to Friday 28 March 2008 (inclusive).
